Most FromSoft dlc tend to enhance the overall lore/story dramatically. I really hope we get to interact with Miquella. It seemed like he had an answer for literally every issue that plagued the lands between Just let me quit the game without having to cycle through a menu to go back to the main menu. And don’t yell at me, game, if I do happen to quit in a manner you don’t like. Paralyzing me if I forget to close the “stone sword key lost with use” text box without telling me to close it with a specific button. After the 5th or 6th time in a row I really take the “YOU died” personally. Makes me appreciate the “Wasted”s of the world, but this is an issue I have with a lot of Japanese games. Like, damn game, you really have to call me out like that? imo exploration kinda gets boring because i dont need almost all the items ill get in the way, neither all the level, so it doesnt really become any rewarding The godskin duo is the worst boss ive ever faced. All the other bosses I had fun with and didnt get upset at some of their bullshit moves but seriously fuck them. There was no fun to be had in that fight. I dislike boss fights in general that have two bosses because one wasnt hard enough but this one was the worst I know not being able to pause is purposeful and it DOES make the game more interesting but sometimes a man just gotta pause yk ?

I think it should have markers for NPCs and their quests, like how Volcano Manor marks the Is this your homework larrythe dude the big lebowskI 90s vintage retro shirt in other words I will buy this invasion targets and how D marks the waygate for Gurrang. They weren’t necessary in the other games because they were linear, but it gets way too easy to get lost with how big the world is. I’m currently having trouble finding Millicent in Altus Plateau. I’m sure I must have passed her like five times going back and forth and just haven’t seen her. A lot of bosses, although they are very cool, are hurt by their really frustrating mechanics, particularly the exaggerated delayed attacks, insane speed, attacks that have to be memorized and can’t be reacted to, ungodly amount of fake windows, jumping away from you instead of giving you a window after a difficult attack, one shots, and lack of reliable estus windows such that often times when you dodge an attack and go to drink, they’re into the next combo before you can. When you are near NPCs you haven’t talked to, or haven’t talked to upon them moving to a new area, it would be nice if they would call out to you, at the very least. Some of them, like Rya, are very easy to miss and can kind of blend into the background if you’re not actively looking.
