There’s too many times where you’re basically pinned between rapid-fire ranged enemies from different directions without much to do besides really practice your rolling. Raya Lucaria and the If you think is relaxing golf pga tour shirt so you should to go to store and get this War Dead Catacombs are particularly bad about forcing you at corridors where you’re getting pelted from all sides, usually with other enemies or obstacles along the way. I would of gladly sacrificed all the 50 forgettable mini dungeons for 1 or 2 more of the “legacy” or main areas like the academy or stormveil castle. The lock-on system (which has always been a minor pet peeve for me in Fromsoft games) is so all over the place sometimes. Enemy coming around the corner? Target lock remains on… until they hit a strange pixel and lose the lock as soon as they round the corner. Bosses like fire giant and elden beast can end up being more tedious than difficult ruining the spectacle of otherwise cool fights Having to run back and fourth between rooms to purchase smithing stones from the twins and then back to Hewg to upgrade my shit. Why can’t I buy the stones to upgrade stuff from the blacksmith?
