I am American, soon to be Aussie, living in the I’m a cat person! in the style of synth wave T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this heart of Sydney and my family won’t come to see me because of how afraid they think the animals here are. It’s ridiculous. Well, your average American doesn’t have a passport (fact) and can’t place their own country on a map (fact) so frankly I’d take anything they have to say with a metric tonne of NaCl. The total amount of people actually killed by deadly animals in Australia through the years, is far, far less than the amount of Americans killed each year by gun violence. More people are killed by guns every hour in the US than are killed in a decade by snakes in Australia. Which place is scarier? Americans won’t go to the grocery store without a handgun proudly displayed on their belt for protection. Not super fussed with their opinions by and large tbh Half the country lives in rural areas, can’t even fight the nature back fast enough. We literally have crocodiles in our creek and river systems flowing THROUGH our city, bluebottle and other jelly fish as well as stingray, conefish, stonefish, blue ring octopus, sharks, sea snakes as well as more crocodiles off our beaches and coast. Most of our deadly spiders and 8 out of 20 of the world’s most poisonous snakes live in my state. You ever seen a pissed off adult, 2m long Taipan trying to enter your household like old mate from the Shining? We got feral pigs all round here though they are pussies compared to Taipans. Also Cassowary will fuck your shit up, try an argue with a Cassowary. Scorpions, other bugs and poisonous plant life. To this day I still feel the gympie gympie plants venom in my leg, been 4 years. Suns a dog too.

I’m a cat person! in the style of synth wave T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

All the I’m a cat person! in the style of synth wave T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this drop bear nonsense and exaggeration is fun but make no mistake, I just watched three Germans swim in crocodile infested waters completely oblivious to the potential dinosaur lurking beneath the surface, jump online and see all the stupid ways tourists have died or been injured here for failing to abide simple directions locals know by heart. We literally have one part of our river blocked to control flow/filter, you can swim downstream from that point but anything upstream is the wild and likely croc territory, like a 20m walk separates you from choosing a swim spot that might get you crumped. Listen, living in a big city where you effectively scoured the landscape of native human and wildlife then wondering why there’s so little of either is an example of how detached/removed from non-city life you are or have become.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
