A guy yelled to me to get out of the store because someone had a gun. I have never ran so fast in my life to get back to my car and out of the area. Does anyone know what happened/what’s happening?I was in the Lego store, they asked us all to get to their back room and locked it down. Kids got a pack of free legos! My friend and I were in the fitting rooms and a girl said her mom texted her from a different part of the mall that people were screaming and running. We went in the back employee area and tried to barricade ourselves in. The intercom went off and said there’s a safety threat and to stay away from doors and windows. People on the citizen app were saying there was an active shooter. We were there for like 30 mins and then the intercom said the area is now safeA security guard had an altercation with 2 men who pulled a gun and shot twice and missed him before getting into a car and fleeing.

Then it became a game of telephone, and rumors escalated it to “active shooter” and people started running, which made more people run, then a new rumor started about a smash and grab at Nordstrom, and a more shooting at Cheesecake Factory…. all of these proved to be false.Active shooter is a pretty specific term for someone who is actively going around and shooting ppl. What is described is not the I Promise To Teach Hearts Pencil LGBT-Q Pride Proud Ally Teacher T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this same thing.I was in downtown seattle and saw a guy get shot 6 times on the sidewalk. We had to barricade in the upstairs of an old navy until police cleared the area. Most of the time it’s targeted and you are safe….but always a good idea to get a CCW and carry a heater. Never know when you’ll need it.
