Nah, fuck that place with your whole dick. anytime theyre more than 15 minutes late, it makes me think that my time is not worth theirs, so id politely leave. I have a maximum 20 minute wait time if an interviewer is late. No desperation for a job is worth someone wasting my time. Different experience during my first job interview through campus. I did challenge non selection post group discussion round and finally panel short listed me for personal interview. Later they make me wait for 3 hours and called in last for 30 minutes interview. You dodged a bullet by declining. No recruiter, interviewer or HR professional for a reputable business would try that tactic and then immediately offer a job. An hour?? 25 minutes would be my limit. A recruiter dm’ed me on Linkedin and asked for an interview and didn’t show up, then email me to reschedule for the following day. He was late on the next day either, even though I told him I wasn’t available if he ran late.
