Interviews are not just one way. They are two way. Candidates are (should be) interviewing the Champlin Park High School Class of 2023 shirt and I will buy this company and their potential boss to see why working there is the best way to achieve their own goals. This also happens to be why the company/boss interviews candidates. So go prepared with not just questions, but criteria. And make notes. No shows, tardies, lack of relevant information implies poor leadership and poor employment practices. So….. you can get up and leave if you don’t want to waste your time… Or if you’ve got time available to have a little fun, you can stay, isolate responses amongst your criteria, document answers, and then at the end, review each item with them. Conclude with, I understand this may be difficult for you to hear, but an employment relationship with you or this company is not a good use of my skills or time. And then go post that on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc. Anonymously, of course.

No, fuck them. If they were on time and you were a second late, they’d drop you in heartbeat. Funny double standards. So first off fuck that guy. 2nd. I know this is a pain, but look into the Champlin Park High School Class of 2023 shirt and I will buy this jobs beforehand. You live in an era where you can find information fast. If they are late next time, walk out. You are a human being first. As you found out—red flag. I have never found crappy time management, interviewing, onboarding or passing bad behavior to end in a good outcome at a job. It always points to general fuckery. I tend to employ a three strike approach to people and situations. The first is me giving grace for “shit happens”. The second is confirmation that it probably isn’t going to work out. The third is “I value myself more than this—goodbye!” Some things (like being an hour late for an interview—count as multiple strikes. “Deeds not words” & “believe them when people show you who they are” are very valid maxims! You deserve better!
