Order a soda with a twist – club soda with a piece of lime rind. People won’t know you’re not having a drink. Tip well Yes. I was on an acid trip once and went to a bar at 2 am. Only ordered water for the Hit Em Low Hit Em High Philadelphia Football shirt What’s more,I will buy this first hour and then some snacks. It’s unlikely a bar will remove a patron that is only drinking water assuming they are not already inebriated as they’re probably going to return later to drink or bring more customers back. Also if you live in USA you probably want to tip for the service, when I’m travelling they’re I just tip $1 per drink. Yup, I stopped drinking voluntarily 8 years ago and still hit up random bars during sporting events. Some of the best unhealthy food is often found at bars lol I just was at a bar playing trivia, so I was there at least two hours, taking up a 4-top by myself. Only got wings and sweet tea. I do it every week, and it’s no big deal. I tip like 30%, but that’s because my bill isn’t much (esp if I’ve got trivia winnings) and I’m there for two hours. I’m low-maintenance, basically run my food and refill my tea once or twice. If it’s a really busy time, like a Saturday night, and you’re needing refills every five minutes, you’ll probably not be received so well. If you’re cool and at least leave a few bucks, they’ll appreciate you. Especially if they’re not busy and that was going to be an empty seat anyway. Yes, I don’t drink and hang out with my friends at bars regularly. I just don’t have the desire, but I agree I like the food and sometimes I get a soda.

It seems to depend; I don’t typically drink alcohol but I do like soda. When out at a bar with friends it usually helps that everyone else in the Hit Em Low Hit Em High Philadelphia Football shirt What’s more,I will buy this group is getting alcohol; but how it’s perceived seems different in different locales. Down in Miami I’m typically charged about $2 for a soda, no free refills, and I’ll leave a tip. However in North Carolina none of the bars I went to charged me, and they wouldn’t take a tip saying “it’s just soda”. Overall; I don’t think any bar will have an issue with just serving you water; especially if your getting food. Oh, just order a virgin cocktail. They are delicious, and the bartender gets to make something for you that takes just as much skill as with alcohol, all the fun, non of the buzz.
