Just don’t have them, beyond your mother in law no one else cares. Because society makes you rationalize it for some reason. Nobody is ever like “ohhh no i can’t believe you don’t want to get into rollerblading, it’s the best thing that ever happened to me!”, cuz it’d be super weird to expect that to hold true for someone else just because it does for you. I’ve had people tell me to my face that I’ll regret it eventually because “a life without kids has no meaning.” Some people can’t get over a need to rationalize their decision to have kids by shitting on those who don’t. My wife is bipolar. Idk how likely that is to be passed on, but depending on how likely it is we’re having one or two at most. If there is a high chance, we’ll adopt because we do want kids even if they’re not biologically ours. My mom has it and gave it to both me and my sister. I ended up in jail for my episodes and i would feel aweful if that happened to a future kid.

I have bipolar. Please please please please don’t risk it. Not because I don’t think your wife can’t handle it, but because of the Heart and brain heartbeat T-Shirt and by the same token and poor child who might get it. Risk is very high. Bipolar is one of the worst diseases known to man imo. The world is slowly burning alive and billionaires have the world by the balls and will continually make things more expensive until it’s unaffordable. My parents went to college in the 90’s and were able to pay off their student loans while they were in school working part time. I can barely pay my rent working part time and loans up to my chin. If you think I’d birth a kid in this cursed world you’re wrong, I have a conscious The worry they cause. My dog was sick this week and thankfully is OK not but it was a close call and my nerves are not in the better of it. My girlfriend who it was headed in that direction with, drank a lot, hiding it many times, would complain about everything (including watching a relatives kid of mine for 2 hours – and drank then), had unrealistic expectations about our future and wouldn’t take action to do anything to get there (especially have kids), she didn’t have grit, her dad paid for a lot of things, she didn’t have a job, she had no idea how tough it is to actually raise a child. She got super emotional about a lot of things. Could not do anything hard.
