I feel like this question is being asked the Fu Manchu 11 fu manchu T-shirt in other words I will buy this wrong way around every time I hear it. Having kids changes things. You should have a good reason for that. Why do you want kids? Can you guarantee them a good life, that they’ll be born whole, that random accidents of life won’t burden you, them, other people? So it’s a gamble. What makes this gamble worth it? Don’t we have enough people, millions of them not doing that great? I was sick for most of my 20s and I’m finally healthy. Everyone expects babies once you’re married, and I’m getting married soon. But I feel like I haven’t lived my life because I spent so much time in hospitals. I want to live my life and be selfish when everyone else got to do that.
Fu Manchu 11 fu manchu T-shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
When sick and having to take a lot of steroids, I gained 80 lbs. I finally got to a weight I’m happy with. I have body dysmorphia now, though, and don’t know what a pregnancy will do to me. Finally, I don’t have this overwhelming need to have them. I feel like that’s something you should have is this desire to become a parent. Maybe that will change, but right now in my life, I am not interested in the Fu Manchu 11 fu manchu T-shirt in other words I will buy this idea of children. Long story short: my parents were shit. My bio ‘father’ – sexually abusive towards me. My mum: emotionally so & she defended his actions to this day she denies them, despite there being photographic proof lmao. Between those two clowns, I’ve literally never learned the correct way to parent, I’d never intentionally harm a child of course not, but I have no idea how to be a good parent that doesn’t cause trauma, because I’ve never had that. If that makes sense. Maybe it would be fine, but I’d rather not risk it. I’d never want to bring a life into this world that ends up feeling the way I do these days (suicidal to name but a few feelings) because it’s needs weren’t met in the correct ways or because it was unintentionally treated the same way as I was by mum, like how my mother is. I am very like her we share almost the same personality and I know it’s not a good one because I grew up around her, at the absolute very least – I’m naturally quite a cold person, I learned it from her, i don’t show how I feel and have often been accused of being ungrateful and angry, and unappreciative of people, I know that passes on horribly to kids because I’ve been through it and I just won’t risk that. I have so many mental health problems too that I’d inevitably raise a kid to be a depressed loser, just as I am with no prospects and little to no hope. Plus it would be a Fleetwood Mac fan. It pisses me off a little because I used to want a kid badly, growing up I looked forward to being a mother, but growing up properly into the adult I am today I’ve learned it’s just not ok for everyone to go that way in life – I know I’d do my best for that child and I’d keep it safe from harm the way my mother didn’t from her husband and my supposed to be father – but I still don’t know about the underlying problems that I don’t even see that I’ve got that could have cause harm to a kid who doesn’t need nor deserve to brought into my family’s circle of bullshit. It’s a little frustrating because as I said, I always looked forward to that part of my life when I was like 10 up to maybe 15, before I realised that yeah no, I ain’t cut out for that. I can barely work through my problems as it is, with help, it would just be unfair to bring a kid into this mix. I don’t like that, but it’s a fact. It would be selfish, and it’s not fair
