As much as I love kids, I don’t want to be responsible long-term for another one. Been there done that. The rest of this life is about me and my dreams and healing. The idea that I’d rather be an established surgeon living a comfortable life rather than a struggling white collar worker attempting to juggle a family and marriage. I would bet a majority of surgeons are fathers and a majority of white collars are not. Success in professional life really helps people build a family. Bottom dysphoria, being gay/ace as fuck, crumbling capitalist society, the Happy first day T-Shirt moreover I will buy this erosion of reason and logic in our government, crushing poverty and the lack of stable long-term housing, lack of healthcare and daycare options, unfulfilled ambitions that are more appealing than parenthood right now…

Some years back there was a woman 65 years old who had hormone treatments etc so she could get pregnant. Absolute insanity! A lot of reasons. I couldn’t justify bringing a child into the Happy first day T-Shirt moreover I will buy this world as it is. My stack of mental illnesses and ocd’s mixed with my husbands I wouldn’t wish on a child, or the torture faced by peers and “authority” thinking they can dictate their life and body. Capitalism thrives on children. I couldn’t forgive myself for ever raising my voice like I do when I’m angry or in a bad swing. My ADHD alone… On top of the barrage of socializing they need. I’m a hermit, I don’t like other people and I certainly don’t like going out, and I can’t impose that lifestyle onto a child.
