I’m curious, why do you think he is meditating unskillfully? I’ve come across using visual imagery in the Group Home Livin’ Proof American hip hop (Vintage Record Sleeve) T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this book layayoga if you are curious but I just focus on mantra. Let apologize to anyone who may have been offended by my thoughts on there type of meditation. I leaned tonight that are meditations that are very different from what I practice. What I practice has worked wonders for me. I hope whatever it is that anyone else practices wether it is different can achieve the same if not better results than I have. The meditation I am referring to is classic Buddhist breath meditation. Specifically I follow a Theravada practice. It’s based on the original word of the Buddha in describing how to liberate ourselves from suffering, which is primarily done via meditation. Also I did mention not everyone experiences nimitta as lights, so it doesn’t always mean you haven’t meditated to these depths, but visual nimittas are by in large the most common. It’s object focused meditation, you focus on an object (breath, mantra, etc) and as you sustain focus on it your mind stops trying to focus on anything else, blissful feelings and lights are common occurrences as your focus strengthens.

My descriptions are brief and lack the Group Home Livin’ Proof American hip hop (Vintage Record Sleeve) T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this full detail of the practice. This is a handbook which is quite practical and step by step, it could be helpful in answering how this practice might differ from your own or give you inspiration for new things to try. I have know problem with your description or your how you practice your meditation. I just explained to another poster that I started meditating before the internet even existed. I haven’t looked into other meditations because of all the grifters that are the web . What I do know is that Transcendental meditation took me from a unhealthy place when I young man to a place that I now am at . It wasn’t over night but I can say now I am at peace with my self and all others I meet.
