I have know problem with your description or your how you practice your meditation. I just explained to another poster that I started meditating before the Love Laughter And Family The American Family Day Usa Flag 4th of July T-Shirt in contrast I will get this internet even existed. I haven’t looked into other meditations because of all the grifters that are the web . What I do know is that Transcendental meditation took me from a unhealthy place when I young man to a place that I now am at . It wasn’t over night but I can say now I am at peace with my self and all others I meet. It could take several hundred breaths uninterrupted by thought to first see them, so you’ll have to judge if that is the level of focus you are obtaining when you meditate. It also could come much quicker, it’s quite variable based on your current state of mind.

Love Laughter And Family The American Family Day Usa Flag 4th of July T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I have periods in the Love Laughter And Family The American Family Day Usa Flag 4th of July T-Shirt in contrast I will get this day although fairly fleeting of no thoughts and in my meditations the same. In meditation, it is sometimes aided by mantra and others just no thought. Though I have not reached the point of having several hundred breaths with no thoughts. Maybe minutes outside of meditation with no thought with very short brief interruptions of thoughts. I have heard like you mention when one focuses on a Yantra or images of deities that they shift into other objects. Lights maybe like I believe you are saying. I have not focused on images as I feel very comfortable with mantras and kind of would like to have mastery in that area. It could be an issue of amount of practice in a short time. Retreats can help these experiences arise because of their directed focus on the practice and the large duration of time devoted to it over a short period. So if you haven’t tried meditating for like hours a day over a week or so, that could be a worthwhile exploration. Mindfulness compounds over a short period so if you can be productive while spending more time, it could be helpful. Also if you are able going on retreat could be very beneficial to experiencing a nimitta for the first time.
