Just say “Nah, I’m good.” If they’re not assholes they’ll accept your answer and say alright. If somebody tries to force alcohol onto you in any context, you probably don’t want to stick around. “I’m good, I don’t really drink.” I told people (who were my friends and not, like, forcing me to tell them) that addiction runs in my family. Which is true. But if it’s not, they’ll never know that. Mature people in college don’t care if you drink or not. If they feel personally wronged by you not drinking, they’re not good people. End of convo. Hold a glass of ginger ale. It looks like booze but is pleasantly alcohol-free. As long as you have that in your hand, you blend right in. find a friend who likes to drink, say yes. Pour your cup into his and refill it with water. If you wanna be a super spy, put some food coloring in. I don’t like drinking and I typically get a coke or sprite and when I’m feeling extra I ask for a garnish (cherries, mint leaves, a tiny umbrella) so I can hold a drink and be left alone lol it Actually, when they ask if you want a drink, say that sounds awesome. But make pre-vomiting gagging noises as you say it… 100% guarantee you they come back with water. I’d love to but I’m on antibiotics. Md said no alcohol. Feel free to add “for leprosy” or “for syphilis” to change the Coming Soon Lego Avengers Code Red Shirt Besides,I will do this topic immediately.

Agree with the Coming Soon Lego Avengers Code Red Shirt Besides,I will do this “I’m good thanks” however if you feel uncomfortable, my friend’s son (who doesn’t much like alcohol) has a little trick: he grabs a beer bottle and carries it around, pouring out bits here and there into sinks or grass or whatever. No-one realises he carries around the same bottle all night. I bring my water bottle. If someone offers me a drink, just say I have one. (Not a lie, just not an alcoholic beverage) Grab the drink, say something nice to toast, then put it down, go to the restroom, don’t pick it back up when you come back. Bonus: alcohol or no alcohol, people are actually very supportive of your choice. we tend to overthink how it will look when it’s actually just fine.
