You can just say no thanks. But in a party where people are getting drunk they will come over and over so it can get annoying fast. Just have some drink in your hand, any drink, a soda, a juice, whatever. People will assume it’s alcohol after a while and stop bugging you.

Colorado State Rams Football 2023 It’s In My DNA shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I usually say: “I can’t drink. Doctor’s orders”. Which is technically the Colorado State Rams Football 2023 It’s In My DNA shirt so you should to go to store and get this truth. I had kidney stones and the doc told me to avoid alcohol so that they don’t build up. A drink or two won’t hurt. But I say I can’t drink because that subtly changes the dynamics in a social setting. And people tend to leave you alone. If they’re reasonable people just say no thanks, if you think they might try and pressure you just say “oh no I can’t I’ve been sober for xx time” and almost no one will insist after that Just say no I don’t want one but you can always just take it and carry it around with you. When someone asks if you need one just say you just got a new one. Their drunk so they won’t notice. You can also just pour it out a little at a time. The toilet while you are gping to the bathroom, while hanging out on the backyard while hanging with the smokers, in a plant, down the sink if your in the kitchen. They aren’t paying attention. Ah, I get the impression that you have been bullied into not standing up for yourself in the past. Believe it or not, there are plenty of people out there who actually respect your autonomy! But if you’re unlucky enough to run into someone who thinks it’s ok to bully you either get the host(ess) involved, tell them you’ve got an allergy and you’re still trying to figure out exactly what you’re allergic to so you don’t want to risk getting sick, or just leave. Depends on what kind of party it is. If you don’t feel safe saying no then just leave. It’s not worth running the risk of having your drink spiked.
