I had an experience with VRBO. I booked a lakefront cabin for my ex-husband, his brother, cousin, and two other guys on a hunting trip to Idaho. I told rhe owner it was a hunting trip and they would have two trucks with trailers with two UTV’s. She said it’s a great area for hunters. The day after I sent the Christmas Minion It’s Not My Fault You Thought I Was Normal Shirt and I will buy this deposit check, she didn’t want to pay for the credit card fee on her end, she emailed to tell me there is no on-site parking at all. That they could park a few miles away at a public park. I told her that didn’t work and just cancel. I suspected she would try to keep the deposit so I stopped payment on the check. It was drawn on a small community bank, where I worked as a loan officer. Sure enough she deposited the check and it was returned as a stop pay. She called our operations manager and I was standing 5 feet away. She went off about what dishonest person I was. My best friend was a partner in a law firm. Within an hour the owner had a letter in her inbox from a real law firm explaining to her what the definition of slander is.

Right I posted on another thread that all these posts have made me not want to use Airbnb on my trip to Toronto. Someone responded that it was rare, lol nah how many times does shit like this happen with a hotel of comparable costs? Not worth it to use Airbnb anymore with these horrible CS stories. I have no interest in rolling the Christmas Minion It’s Not My Fault You Thought I Was Normal Shirt and I will buy this dice hoping my vacation will turn out ok. Chesky is always trying to fix the WRONG THINGS about Airbnb. Hey Brian! Fix your nightmarish customer service and maybe folks will go back to Airbnb. Until them, hotels all the way. If you’re staying in downtown Toronto go with a hotel. It’s worth the extra cost. Most places have banned air b&b and the ones that have not have issues. It happens constantly. I just mentioned in another post, I’ve used Airbnb a total of 4x. 3 out of 4 have been a bust with shitty money hungry hosts trying to get over!
