My Dad does this cause he’s old and cantankerous. As far as he’s concerned, they should have left earlier. I move over to let faster vehicles pass me and then go back to the left lane. Devils advocate: Are there really that many people who camp in the left lane or do you cause the problem by being impatient and passing people on the right thereby not giving them a chance to get back to the right lane after they pass someone? I drive A LOT unfortunately and while there are certainly a few people who troll along in the left lane no matter what, my experience is that there are a lot more people who want to go substantially over the speed limit and refuse to wait for people to get back over after they pass. Instead of waiting 15 seconds, our intrepid Interstate Earnhardt dives into the right lane and blasts by, blocking Safety Sally from getting back to the right after she passes slower traffic. Now poor Sally is stuck in the left lane when all she wants to do is get over like the considerate driver she is.
