I’m on the Black adam 2022 shirt and I will buy this left side while driving, so I can very easily see the line next to me so I don’t go over it, or the barrier in the middle of the highway. In the middle lane, I’m constantly worried about cars on either side of me because, even if I’m in between the lines perfectly, a car could just as easily go over and hit me or I can hit them. And in the right lane, it’s more difficult for me to see the line that I’m trying to stay in between on that side, so I’m anxious about being in the lane but still not hitting the barrier (if there is one). It doesn’t logically make sense I get it, but that’s just how my brain works, so I wonder if others have a similar line of thought. I’ve told her many times not to do this. But my wife often camps in the left lane. I think there are a few reasons but what she told me is “Most on ramps are on the right. So if I drive in the left lane then I don’t have to worry about running into people trying to get on the highway.” This was out in the country where you only have an on ramp like every 10 miles and rarely see someone even trying to get on. So didn’t make sense to me. But that’s married life. I feel like this question is asked a lot by the people who ride your ass even when they clearly know you are actively passing someone. I do not hog the left lane I get over as soon as possible but I also will be the same guy that if you can’t handle going 10 to 15 over the speed limit and actively passing someone and have to ride my ass then maybe we’ll just slow down and make you think about your actions while you’re now going even slower than you apparently need to.

I’m overtaking but not as fast as the Black adam 2022 shirt and I will buy this person behind me who thinks they are entitled to a private lane with their own privately designated speed limit. Because people are cunts and dont know how to drive. Bring on self driving cars I’m sick of y’all being behind the wheel. There is no need to pull out of the left lane if I am accelerating until I catch up to whoever’s in front of me and stay glued to them. As a Californian I’ve adored pandemic driving (though I do so little of it). We’ve gone from “speed limit 60, speed at 70” to “cruise at 80, or nose around 100 if you’re in a hurry”, and it just works. Getting people off the road has been a 20 mph boost to overall travel times. Sometimes I do it if I’m having driving anxiety. It’s stupid, but sometimes I feel more safe in the fast lane because there’s one less lane to worry about ie only cars on my right. Or if there’s a cliff in the right hand lane and I wanna stay far away from it. I don’t do it for long periods though People won’t let you switch lanes. Big pickup trucks will slow down, speed up and run you off the road before they let you change lanes. I have seen people in the travel lane speed up so that the passing lane cannot complete their pass. This is also infuriating. If I’m going 10mph over and gradually passing cars on the right I will continue to do so until I don’t see any more cars to pass. Then the 10+mph hotheads can pass. I’m not gunna switch back and forth 817783 times because of a bunch of speed demons. That being said, if you’re in the passing lane and not passing anything then you are fucking up
