It can lead receding gum issues. Be gentle with brushing near the gumline. It takes 1 minute to flourid (and it’s newer alternatives) to work properly on the bacteria amount commonly found in mouths. So the best way is actually to make sure to get the toothpaste all around the mouth to begin with and then brush for at least one minute.
