People need to die in death-worthy situations, not f**king miraculously survive every time, or it feels like a child’s cartoon. The riddler. Now he was great for the Be You THe World Will Adjust Charlie Shirt in other words I will buy this first half. I liked the riddles and the outfit and everything, he was a fun and creepy villain that also felt like he could really exist. I loved the clues. And then as the plot goes on he doesn’t fking accomplish anything that we really care about. His master plan was to cause a flood and then kill the gathering people through his many followers. But it doesn’t even seem like his followers hit fking anyone. They were just fking around up there and took one shot and didn’t even kill her. How did they do so shit. They couldn’t hit a fking barn door. They were hyping it up as they were gonna kill all the substantial people in the city, but they just gave a politician a slight graze. I think it was also anticlimactic that the riddler’s big plan was to have his dumb fk followers do the job. Like we don’t give a single fk about these guys and what they accomplish, whether they die, etc.

It would have been more effective and enjoyable if had just even set a bomb in the Be You THe World Will Adjust Charlie Shirt in other words I will buy this hall imo, not that I’d think that’s amazing, but definitely better than these lame ass guys. Also the riddler’s motivation was just boring imo. It seemed liked it was gonna be a more exciting conspiracy, but it was pretty standard boring stuff imo. Something more interesting could have been thought of. I also just think the riddler in this movie needed to finish with a complete mindfk moment. Like a plan so devious and clever that was also given away with the clues or something. Like the riddler deserves an all time great movie twist. Something where the audience (us) is like holy fking s**t i can’t believe he planned all of this shit and we didn’t see it coming. I don’t think this movie accomplished this. The flood was somewhat interesting but not clever enough. I thought the scene with batman and riddler talking in jail didn’t live up to expectations. The writing and acting just wasn’t interesting enough in that scene. Batman and riddler just didn’t have that chemistry. I’m not a joker fanboy but this scene didn’t live up to the batman/joker scenes in dark knight, not even close.
