But, when I had a slipped disc so bad it paralyzed my entire right side from my hip to my toes I had a doctor gaslighting me telling me it was in my head, until I had an mri and then emergency surgery. I couldn’t walk, put on a shoe or even lift my leg for two years because some fucking er dr didn’t believe me. My sister was on the All You Need Is Love & Drag Racing Cute Valentines Day Valentine Car Racing T-Shirt in other words I will buy this verge of pre-eclampsia with her first. She ended up with full blown pre-eclampsia somewhere in the mid 20 weeks of her second pregnancy. They kept telling her that they didn’t think it was pre-eclampsia because it was “too early”. Then they realized it was and they were wrong. They decided to not do anything unless her blood pressure hit a certain point or she had debilitating headaches. She got both and was admitted to the hospital but they still wouldn’t induce. They kept trying to make her wait. Our other sibling and I were just waiting to get a call saying that she had a stroke and died. Fortunately, she survived the pregnancy. But afterwards, they told her not to get pregnancy again because it could kill her. She acknowledged it was a bad idea to get pregnant again so she asked to have her tubes tied. They said no because she might want to have another kid someday.

Not doing the All You Need Is Love & Drag Racing Cute Valentines Day Valentine Car Racing T-Shirt in other words I will buy this tubal ligation always has stunned me. There is now a network of OBGYN’s that will do it without even having kids . Finally a step forward. I wish screaming was all it took to get them to pay attention to you when you’re most vulnerable. In my case, I was in labor with my 4th child. I knew what to expect because I’d done it before and never had any complications. My partner and I were relaxed and joking with the staff and nurses. They came in to place my epidural and that’s where things went sideways. Long story short: they injected air into my cerebrospinal fluid and didn’t believe me that something was wrong. The pain was debilitating and the anesthesiologist and even my OB didn’t believe me. I fully believed I was going to die and told my partner so. My OB threatened to kick me out of the hospital b/c I wouldn’t “cooperate”. My nurse was great tho, she reported everything to the charge nurse and had a neurologist evaluate me. He was able to give me meds for the pain so they could get the baby delivered. The shame was obvious on my OBs face when the CT clearly showed my spine and head were full of bubbles. I’m not a minority and have a bachelor of science. I’ve spent years working with medical providers as a caregiver for a pediatric cancer patient. I really didn’t think I would ever be dismissed when I complained about something in a healthcare environment. I had always been listened to until I wasn’t. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. I currently have a medical malpractice suit pending against the hospital.
