Nah it’s weird. Guys never text that much in general let alone a girl they barely know unless he had an agenda. I would feel similarly. Maybe I’m skeptical or paranoid vs the A wise woman once said dance like your cat is watching T-Shirt and I love this majority of the other commenters I’m seeing here, but I would also feel weird about it if the things he’s texting you about are just random and unnecessary, and especially if it’s more than once or twice. It might sound cold of me but I think those things are just better avoided. Your friendship is with her, and while I’m sure you’re delighted to get to know her partner, I feel thats most appropriate to be happening in group settings/parties/etc, not in private text chats. yeah, he’s closet creepy. many are like that. to be clear – He’d bang you if he thought no one would find out, kinda like a porn scenario for him. I have a neighbor like this – perfect in every way but fucking creepy sometimes. It’s weird he didn’t introduce himself when he first texted. He’s not 18 he’s almost 30 so come on. IMO, he seems like a stalker who wants to keep tabs on his fiance and doesn’t trust her. Watch out. People seem nicer, than the A wise woman once said dance like your cat is watching T-Shirt and I love this true them comes out. I agree that it feels weird. My (F) husband and I are couple friends with another M/F couple. We have a 4 person group chat and if I want to talk to the M of our friend couple, or vice versa, we do so in the group chat. However, I text the F friend independently, and my husband texts the M friend independently. None of us are jealous or thinking we’re going to cheat on each other, but I would find it weird if my husband was texting my female friend (aside when they’re planning surprises for me, obviously;) ) frequently in the same way he texts just his own friends who he has established relationships with outside of us as a couple. For me, it seems like a sign of respect for your partner. If I ever do text his M friends (usually for a specific reason, such as they’re asking questions specific to my industry, or planning surprises for their F partners I’m friends with, etc), I make sure to mention it to him and let him know what we talked about. It just feels like an easy way to keep open communication and trust.
