I called and they kept passing me to other staff lol they said even if I ask for a higher up, they will tell me the 70s psychedleic george clinton parliament tunkadelic retro T-Shirt and by the same token and same thing and I thought it was BS I had the same, Vienna xmas market time, host cancelled the night before with an obvious bs reason. She tried to make me cancel before that claiming the dishwasher broke, i told i dont mind it. Then she said the hot water also broke and i was without a stay, already there and airbnb support didnt help at all. They came up with airbnb recommendations far away for much higher prices and didnt want to pay the difference either. Then i kept complaining and only got a $60 coupon for next airbnb stay. Totally useless as i had to book a hotel last minute, for hundreds of dollars more. I made the reservation months ago, cheaper and she found someone else for more… since that i only use airbnb in low season when i know i can last minute book a hotel if needed. Hilton and marriott never failed me.

Hey, just an fyi. No insurance covers making up any gaps, especially if you are getting a refund. It’s only intended to cover if you can’t get a refund or your refund is delayed. Because Airbnb is issuing a refund it means any travel insurance won’t help. Also, because you are getting refunded, other things that might be impacted won’t get refunded. So no place to stay and you need your airfare refunded? Lol nope, out of luck. Sounds like Grand Prix. That does indeed suck. I’ve tried finding places in the 70s psychedleic george clinton parliament tunkadelic retro T-Shirt and by the same token and city around that time—impossible. Welcome to Airbnb, typical Airbnb tactics. If you booked a great deal during a popular weekend you have a high chance of this happening. Next time, book a hotel. Avoid the drama and the last minute headaches by avoiding Airbnb.
