I think that is the 1963 Kiel Opera House A Salute To Genius Ray Charles Concert Flyer T-Shirt In addition,I will do this only solution. You have to charge the host the full price for the cancellation – plus make them pay the difference for the guest to get into an equal quality/size rental in the same vicinity. If the host has a legitimate reason to cancel: say a flood, or fire, or a previous guest destroyed the place, etc, then I understand not charging the host the penalty (assuming they can provide all the proof) but then in those rare cases, Airbnb should front the money to get the guests into the equal quality/size rental. The guest should never have the burden of paying a penny more for a reservation they booked in advance. This is killing Airbnbs reputation. I am a host with 7 years under my belt. I have never had to make a cancellation in those 7 years because a good host will never need to cancel unless an emergency comes up. That’s why I’m totally ok with hosts getting charged the full price for rebooking guests- bc it won’t impact us good hosts, only the bad hosts that pull this BS. I think that is the only solution. I used to work for Booking.com, and this is what we did. The Booking agent would find a comparable place nearby, and if it was more expensive we’d cover the 1963 Kiel Opera House A Salute To Genius Ray Charles Concert Flyer T-Shirt In addition,I will do this difference and invoice the hotel. I have heard hosts brag on this subreddit that there are ways to work loopholes to be able to cancel penalty-free and re-list at the higher premium rate. This seems to be a space where Airbnb doesn’t really have guests’ backs, because they ultimately profit off the higher-rate booking more than the cheaper booking. Alienating guests doesn’t bother them if new guests take their place. This is what happened right after I learned the host cancelled on me and then I received the same exact apartment as a suggestion to book for. This is why I think all the big platforms should at least team up a bit so if you have an Airbnb account, that means it also works with VRBO and whatever. So if you pull any shenanigans like this on one platform, the others should also block your dates and you learn a powerful lesson in greed.
