they really dont give a shtit anymore it took me 10 dys and they didn’t do anything about my lisbon airbnb where i photos ad and showed them the 2007 Simon James Moran Sjm Concerts Presents British Rock Royalty Poster T-Shirt but in fact I love this air conditioner had bird seed and aluminium foil blocking any condensation from leaking…they dont care. booked a marriot 3 weeks out , a little more expensive at 25% but better location, cleanliness consistency. never going back. 10 years and 70 bookings later This happened to us on a trip as well, except the hosts discovered some last minute “missing” cleaning fee and wanted another $400. We booked 2 months in advance, and this happened 2 weeks before the trip. They canceled and we found another one. It sucked, and definitely pushes us one step back towards hotels.

I deleted my Airbnb completely after two issues with the 2007 Simon James Moran Sjm Concerts Presents British Rock Royalty Poster T-Shirt but in fact I love this same host in Montreal screwing up my plans. I’ve had many issues over the past couple of years and that one was my final straw. Did the host say he had family coming and then you couldn’t have the place for your stay? That was one of my issues lol maybe it’s the same guy. Airbnb was 0 help. I ended up disputing the charge. The host didn’t even bother to send me a message. I asked Airbnb why my host cancelled on me and according to them the host cancelled because she’s been in trouble with her neighbours about putting her unit on Airbnb. Montreal is cracking down after 7 people died in a fire at an illegal Airbnb that was extremely dangerous (no windows for escapes, people fucking fried to death in a profitable, inescapable death trap.)
