Hilariously, this sticker alone would be a reason to quit in the 100 Days Of School It’s Fine Im Fine Everything Is Fine Cat T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this middle of my first shift. Yes, I just worked a couple hours for those fucks but only to maximize the chaos when I walk out. lol this sign is asking for the most creative ways to quit. This the kind of restaurant that makes people hire a band to sing a quitting song, roll out a red carpet and have a limo waiting. Nope but you can post it. I’m not normally contrary for the sake of contrariness but this would make me so much more likely to just quit for any number of reasons. Hopefully they aren’t posting it next to the mandatory “employment at will” signs because it might get confusing. I’m not even sure you can do that. I’d be surprised if it’s legal anywhere in the U.S. to knowingly post objectively false labour information.) It’s not legal, it’s just a tactic to keep people in line! I’d walk out the door any damn time I felt like it! What are they going to do? Call Ronald McDonald on me? They are not saying they are going to restrain someone from walking off the job, but they also don’t consider that a resignation. Where as other jobs take the view if you walk off the site keep on walking. If someone walks away and doesn’t come back eventually they’ll be marked as job abandonment and processed as quitting.

McDonald’s and other jobs like it aren’t very pleasant and don’t pay very well and are usually staffed by younger less dependent workers. This leads to a lot of people getting fed up and walking off. But, a fair amount of people would actually return after a cool down. This sign, and less antagonistically worded policies benefit the 100 Days Of School It’s Fine Im Fine Everything Is Fine Cat T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this company for sure, but also work in the employees favor. Oh, wow, thank you very much. I really mean that. I completely misunderstood this sign, and you just clarified it, for all of us. I see it completely differently now. Most of the other comments here are Redditors being condescending and trying to be funny but this is how I understand it too. This is a reasonable take. Lots of stories on antiwork and similar of people getting pissed and quitting on the spot or whatever but I always wonder if they were so sure about it the next day when they realized they had to find a new job and figure out how to pay rent next week.
