One of the Zaire Franklin American football linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this only ways a child has to stand up against such a person is to refuse to open their mouth. Very few women are up to the task of prying a child’s jaws apart and stuffing in the creamed Lima beans. A lot of parents do hate meal time, and that’s because 1) they are frustrated because they want what’s best while it seems, to them, that their kids want the exact opposite and 2) kids are frustrated to hell because they feel powerless and at least during meal time, they can finally control some part of their lives. If you 1) let kids eat what they want, 2) involve them in the preparation of it and 3) expose them to lots of different flavours and dishes, they will already be so much less “difficult”. It’s especially them feeling powerless – kids, I mean – that makes them act up, rebel, look for control over some part – any part – of their lives, when it seems that so many other aspects are controlled by other people: their parents, their teachers, bosses at (student) jobs…

bc kids are stupid and would eat candy until their teeth fall out. kids are SO stupid. like perpetually little drunk alcoholic adults And the Zaire Franklin American football linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this “clean your plate” mentality led to generations of children developing diabeetus and dying from that while still not getting good nutrition. Because boomers love child abuse. The only thing better than temporary abuse is giving them a permanent eating disorder and diabeetus with it. Where is this still happening? This hasn’t been a thing since Gen X became parents. This was a Boomer way of doing things. As a parent now, if my kids say they’re full, they can leave the table. If they ask for food 5 mins later, supper is still available lol. They’re not allowed to replace supper with candy. But they don’t need to eat more than their bodies need. How would OP? Their claim is equally unfounded. Are they even a parent? They probably haven’t even looked around at a restaurant to see all the kids NOT finishing their meals. What I have seen is a kid who is overly picky not eating what is served and then 20 minutes later cries about being hungry and wanting some sort of junk food like ice cream or other desert. The parents know the kid is hungry and see through his BS of not being hungry. Nowadays they’re really pushing babies to feed themselves, baby led weaning. We let them say no and don’t pressure them to eat. My son is a great eater, but sometimes he says he’s “all done” through signing, but I know he isn’t, I’ll try to persuade him to have more, but doesn’t mean he’ll have much more.
