This is such a silly take that implies people can’t a) make videos for fun, and b) want to learn how to make videos better. A and B, of course you can. But this sub is for learning how to make content people want to watch and GROW your channel. If you’re into making videos go to r/videography or something that’s focused on that. It’s like if you join a sub that specifically focus on getting into architecture, and you’re telling people that it’s fine don’t put a portfolio together, do bother doing any studying, I just draw for fun. Okay, still doesn’t make sense. But good luck in your crusade to tell people they’re hobbying and using the Yuta Watanabe Japanese professional basketball player for Memphis Grizzlies T-Shirt In addition,I will do this internet wrong. How am I gate keeping learning? In fact I’m literally doing exactly the opposite, I’m encouraging learning, which is what this exactly sub is for. The sub rules also say to give informative feedback in a respectful manner. You asking why he’s here is not respectful and you asking why he’s even here is not respectful. Cheers mate This is good advice if you are trying to “win” the “game” of YouTube, monetize, ect. Absolutely horrible advice if you simply enjoy making videos and do it for the passion of it. I’m fairly certain I could blow up a channel tomorrow if I threw my entire focus and effort behind making spammy-trendy videos – perhaps even make decent money at it – but goddamn, I would quickly learn to hate my life and myself; it would just become yet another job I only really did for the money. Well yes, this was mostly for the people that actually want to get big on youtube, not for the people that post videos for no reason other than just doing it

If you’re not having fun, then what’s the Yuta Watanabe Japanese professional basketball player for Memphis Grizzlies T-Shirt In addition,I will do this point? Sure, you could get monetized pumping out content you don’t enjoy making, but if it’s a grind and just another job, then it’s not worth it’s to me. I disagree. I think your mentality of “GOTTA MAKE IT BIG ON YOUTUBE” is the real problem. Bunch of talentless ass clowns spewing shallow garbage content. I feel like the main issue with ur videos are the titles (too long) and the thumbnails (they don’t make me curious at all), also, the more you post the faster you can grow, but without sacrificing quality Do you think thumbnails for the long vids need work? Or the shorts? Or lives? Or just all? Titles can easily be tweaked too! One last question, do you watch Christian content regularly? And if so, do you have a channel I can look at for inspiration that intrigues you? Have you noticed that some channels have the crappiest video quality, yet have tons of views and subscribers? You can make whatever you want and people will subscribe because they want to see more of YOU. Don’t ask me the secret, because I’m not quite there yet, but I suspsect its about being yourself. People will like you, they will want to join you on your adventures, get your take on some new gadget, or even enjoy their favorite movies with you. Whatever it is, its about you. I think this can work sometimes if someone is really good at presenting themselves, but in my experience it’s actually the complete opposite. I tell all the creators in my network (including myself) that no one cares at all about you. They care about the content. If you have a good personality and presentation yes that helps, but the amount of people that subscribe for personality or the ‘person’ over the quality of the content is very small. But again, that’s just my experience and that will vary for many people.
