Strong words for your room mate while also virtue signaling that you are the generous one among your friends – Good luck with your life Work gives you a bonus during Christmas, why is this any different? Especially for people who live paycheck to paycheck. My mother is a house cleaner and we really appreciated the extra money during holidays. It puts nice food on the table, clothes, other essentials and maybe gifts. Your roommate and their parents are assholes.
