Every time I’ve ever tried, they will flash their lights, at a minimum. Nobody I know was taught this when learning to drive, and it was not on my driving exam. So I guess it’s an education issue. This is why i like Germany, mostly everyone follows the road laws especially the passing laws. Like if you are coming up on someone and they haven’t moved or don’t notice you, simply flash your lights and they tend to move right away if they haven’t. All of that is annoying. Throw in the fact that i25 is almost entirely a two lane highway and the right lane has to deal with merging. I’m aware when someone wants to pass behind me, so I slide into the right lane and then get back in the fast lane. I know it’s not “proper”, but It’s the most comfortable way to drive around here. It annoys me more if super slow drivers insist on left lane travel, forcing people to slow down or be an asshole that passes on the right.
