This is how I feel anytime I go to a designated “campground”. Your experience seems extra bad for sure. Can somebody explain to me why people go to these “campgrounds” at all? I sincerely don’t understand…. It was my friends birthday and his parents were in their RV. We met a guy who camps regularly there and he said it’s usually dead. Just got back from two nights camping with a very similar experience. Apparently not. We were next to a group of 4/5 families, loads of kids and they had loads of these electric motor bike things that make an awful noise. They were up until about 1ish, constantly running a generator. Also had these weird LED things that were like huge fishing rods but had bright flashing lights on. Until 1am! Wankers… I clearly have unresolved anger issues because I would absolutely confront them as soon as I saw them setting up

Yes! I thought the You can’t scare me I’m a Art Teacher Halloween Teacher Pumpkin T-Shirt and I love this same thing. Don’t come on here just to bitch about it. What did you “do”? Doesn’t have to be confrontational but actionable. This is beyond “mildly infuriating”, it is excessively rude. They are obviously scared of the dark. Camping is supposed to be dark. A campfire is the only light you need. I’ll bet $250 it was some church youth group. It’s getting to be about the time of year for those, plus, the snake river is a popular spot for the church groups to go. Have you never been to a campground? Nobody acts like this. This is akin to getting a hotel room and having your neighbor scream and yell and bang against your wall all night. You wouldn’t tell OP “if you didn’t want to sleep near other people, then you shouldn’t have slept near other people.”
