Lights and off-road vehicles happen at certain campgrounds, just like loud sex through thin walls happens at certain hotels. If you don’t want that, don’t go there. Does this mean that if I show up to a campground first I can hook up a sound system and make everyone listen to “I Cum Blood”? This is worse than the time I camped near some hippies who screamed, cried, sang, fucked, puked, and smoked weed well into the early morning while also playing a real awful playlist. This looks like a kept lawn. Just because it’s advertised as a campsite and you sleep in a tent doesn’t mean it is a campsite. When your option of camping is at a camp ground, you can’t expect the camping experience like in the woods. A lot of campgrounds will have permanent residents who act like they own the area, you’re bound to have a party or two going on, and drunks all over. Combine a camp ground with a holiday weekend like this one, and multiply the later ones by ten. People who don’t normally camp and are only concerned for their groups comfort. Avoid weekends around holidays, especially Memorial Day, as that’s more or less become a camp and grill celebrated holiday. I hate when you just want to sleep out in nature and for many people camping is an all night loud and rowdy party. What is up with this? Do people not sleep anymore?

What is wrong with wanting to have a good time?! It sucks you picked a spot right next to a huge group, check the campsite rules before booking some have rules against this. If they’re allowed to do it then again sucks for you, don’t complain because they are having a better time than you. !!
