I have the You can go to hell I’m going to margaritaville shirt so you should to go to store and get this same issue with my wife of seven years. I literally cannot fall asleep without a fan whereas she always gets cold with it. Every relationship has compromises and needs people to make sacrifices for the other. So I would try to communicate that while this is something important to you, you’ll help her out with something she can’t live without. For example, I wake up early to walk the dog so she can sleep in if needed. She also has volunteered to wear a headband at night so her forehead doesn’t get cold. Plus adding layers of blanket to the bed. Sleeping with a fan and moving air feels amazing. I sleep great with one too. Keep the fan. It’s not wrong or bad at all. No you’re not wrong. Me and my wife were in the same position when we got married. She can’t sleep without a fan and rain sounds, I never grew up with that stuff (except maybe soft music) too go to sleep. But I knew that me having difficulty falling asleep (which happens anyway) was less important than her not being able to fall asleep at all so I caved and we’ve slept with both every night since. When I read him say “he was 9 pounds overweight, and sleeping with a fan…” A little fat, but still livin the dream

The problem isn’t the You can go to hell I’m going to margaritaville shirt so you should to go to store and get this fan. Me and my husband slept totally differently and we’ve kinda merged over the years. The problem is the way she talks to you. That’s not ok. I’ve always slept with a fan, even in winter. I get hot too and I can’t stand it when the room feels stuffy. My fiancé and I moved in together a year ago and the fan made him stuffed up. I stopped for a while but I absolutely have to have it in summer. We compromised by using a smaller fan that mostly blows on me. I would really love to use my bedroom ceiling fan but that one makes him really congested so I just use my little one unless I’m in bed alone. What specifically bothers her about it? Does she get cold, or does it dry up her sinuses? It’s all about compromise… can you guys talk it out and figure out what she hates about it so much?
