I would drop her and find someone who likes me for who I am, not who I could be if she changed me. You know, sometimes couples just aren’t compatible when it comes to sleeping habits, and I wish there wasn’t such a stigma against sleeping in separate beds. Like, why is sleeping in separate beds automatically associated with a failing relationship when in fact it could be the very thing saving a relationship! No, some people literally cannot sleep without a fan and it has nothing to do with being “hot-natured”. I need a fan for the white noise as well as air circulation. You offered a perfectly reasonable compromise, that she sleeps in a different room. If that’s not good enough for her then you two just aren’t compatible.

My wife can’t come to bed without reading a bit before she sleeps and I need the Tan anniversary shirt besides I will buy this fan on or pretty low temps to sleep. Try directing the fan at an angle so that it only blows on you, like maybe on your legs or whatever. If you have it on your body, a bit, at least there’s still a breeze…or maybe even put it on rotate. I feel your pain though. It was very rude that she basically called you fat. She should apologize to you about that. As far as the fan goes, no you’re not rude for wanting the fan on. I’m the same way. Perhaps it’s best you two sleep in separate rooms. As far as I can tell this is slowing becoming for normal for couples. Sleep is important, so i would never have a long term partner that had noise on all night, completely off the table – but she did and now she has to sleep in the other room. Might not be very long term it seems – but youll find better matches and be ok. Good luck to both of you.
