Can Netflix do this? That’s the Yes I’m An Ultra Maga Girl Proud Of It Usa Flag Shirt it is in the first place but one I feel odd about paying so much for. I’m fine with the prices for Disney+ and Prime. But Netflix I feel like I’m paying more than I should for the content I get. This is just the beginning. It’s only a matter of time before “ad-supported” becomes the “normal tier” and the premium tier just has “fewer ads”. Next year, the premium version will have an ad at the start, and a new no-ad version will be the extra premium choice. Calling it. From a Disney+ subscriber, this sucks. I hope it doesn’t affect the current prices but I can’t say with any confidence that will happen. And part of the reason we pay (other than the exclusive content) is to avoid advertising, and this shake up to the business model spells trouble for subscribers.

As a media advertising employee who is fascinated by OTT Video Investment, I am intrigued by how this plays out. I think there’s definitely opportunity in the Yes I’m An Ultra Maga Girl Proud Of It Usa Flag Shirt it is in the first place but ad space for optimizing targeted ads to the consumer, and Disney has the money to throw around to make it happen. Yes I realize that’s not what most people want to hear, but if you have to see ads you may as well get them for more relevant products. For kids shows “Hey kids you just watch the show so we know you like it now look at all these toys that we made the show to sell now go bug your parents to buy them all!” I was just considering signing up this morning only to watch Get Back and then cancel my subscription but honestly I may just raise the jolly roger at this point. Aren’t most Disney movies just giant ads for toys these days? So, we get to watch ads with our ads? Someone post the Xzibit meme.
