On the Yes i am old but saw Tim Mcgraw on stage signature shirt Furthermore, I will do this point of early skills: I’m in the camp where I like to get my main skill early, and see incremental improvements, so I like this. I also love the world scaling. For me the power spikes have come in specialities (Sorc, enchantment 1 and 2 gave me nice boosts), in gear and in renown. I went from a +1 chain lightning to +2 on gear, and that was a nice boost. I’m halfway ish through acts and did some renown farming for +1 skills and +1 potions. That was a nice boost too. The part of the open world (which I mostly love), which is nagging on me a bit is that main quest I was able to push forward in two different areas. I like that it is possibly non-linear in places (that actually seems realistic), but I do have a worry in my head maybe I have done something wrong. I don’t think so, it’s not a huge deal. I am liking this game a lot.

I really would have liked if skills changed as you put points into them. Like look, I have three wolves now! Or Look my fireballs are bigger! Stuff like that, progress we can see and feel without being fully at the mercy of rng. I don’t find it as bad as you but I definitely agree with the skills being boring. Everything feels so boring and unoriginal. Say what you want about D3 but at least it has some original classes and abilities. I’m playing Twisting Blades, shadow Imbuement Rogue and I feel like it’s way more engaging and fun, than anything I have ever played in D3 and I played all classes. I know people are saying that, but it’s literally what I came up with in the first Beta myself, because Twisting Blade just seemed interesting and everything else just makes sense to go along with it. I’m sure, I’m not playing with all the right skills and passives, too. It’s so much fun though, regardless of how effective it is!
