The issues I have with Christians is that they do not follow their own ideals, and instead use Christianity like they did in the World tour 2023 Scorpions 58th anniversary 1965 2023 signature shirt Furthermore, I will do this old testament to persecute those who are different from them. The fact of the matter is what god requires of his people is to be peaceable, accepting, kind and spread the word by giving what you have and helping others. which seems to seldom to be the case for many Christians throughout history. what makes me think that Christianity is a farce is not the idea of god or Christianity itself, its that almost all Christians do not follow the example and principles of Jesus and his disciples, Heck in the bible it seems that GOD doesn’t even follow his own principles. See this is why I’m not atheist. I think there’s a damn equal chance of any religion existing, so I think they might as well all exist. Religion, and their gods, are sustained by belief. You go to the afterlife you believe in. Religions shit, I’m not sure if this is defending religion but if it is you’re backing safe havens for rapist, no one gives a shit about the beliefs anymore.

At the World tour 2023 Scorpions 58th anniversary 1965 2023 signature shirt Furthermore, I will do this end of the day, we will all die one day. So lets just let everyone believe whatever they want without showing our beliefs down their throats. A lot of religions are structured in such a way that the typical Jesus inspired atheist critiques of “all religion” don’t make any sense when applied to them. Buddhism and scientology don’t believe in a creator diety anymore than atheists do, for example. Most mainstream sects of Judaism are extremely suspicious of any claims of supernatural contact or power. Thelemites arguably consider their deities more figurative than literal. I could go on…. My favorite part of this post is that all the Redditors in the comments are taking the bait as well, making this joke like 10x funnier Reading some of Christianity’s founding texts really gave me a new perspective on religion. This shit goes deep. Highly recommend checking out St Augustine.
