Amazon be like “haha funny joke, and you’re fired for unprofessionalism” after tweeting about it for PR of course I’m imagining the Womens pole dance options T-Shirt besides I will buy this Amazon driver pulling out one of those ink pads and the dog signing the paper with his paw print. Lol Don’t pay for signature required. They all still claim coronavirus concerns for just leaving packages anyways. 1st hand experience multiple times most recently 2 weeks ago. Joking aside, couriers here have been self-signing all parcels as ATL (authorised to leave) or contactless, since covid began. I got a delivery notice once that said, “package delivered, verbal signature”. I was like, “doesn’t that defeat the purpose?” We have that at work. “ verbal signature” means they record you saying your name. Probably safer (and easier) than a physical signature Three times now I’ve had signature deliveries and saw the driver walking away so then I asked “don’t I need to sign?” and they say something along the lines of “oh I signed for you so you don’t have to worry about it, you’re all good” ….. like dude the whole point of the signature is written confirmation/ documented record that I personally received the package…. you signing for me defeats that entirely.

OP is lying tho. Marking the Womens pole dance options T-Shirt besides I will buy this delivery “handed to customer” does not allow a driver to take a pic. Only packages left with no recipient (or secure mailroom) so like by a porch, gate, etc will prompt a delivery pic. I tell drivers to mark whatever they have to when an unleashed dog shows up. People order shit and then leave their dogs loose and no indication they are there. People suck. I’ve heard too many stories of bitten calves to justify the practice of even delivering with loose dogs around. Just turn around. The owner can install a package delivery box or something in the front of the property. My mom had some books delivered to our house once, it was a lot of money for us at the time. We came home to find them in shreds all over the lawn because the delivery guy threw it to the dog. Mom was very upset. The dog was tied up, so there were multiple places the package could have been left out of his reach, but no. Super friendly dog, but not very well trained.
