Sigh What happened to Ginger was outrageous but it was kind of productions fault. I don’t think Ginger and Kennedy would end up so bitter toward the end of the season if Pearl and Miss Fame weren’t being saved every single episode without any justification. The fandom is clearly fatphobic to an extent, but I don’t think anyone other than Ginger and Eureka did as well as the winners, and in Eureka’s case she kind of dug herself to a hole there, I don’t blame the fandom for turning on her… Eureka imo won both lipsync for the crown in S10 against Aquaria and Silky proved she can beat any of these hoes in a LS. In my opinion should have won CanadaVsTW. I don’t see the show’s format as a handicap. Just hasn’t happened yet

I shouldn’t have limited to format, but the Wife Of A Vietnam Veteran Freedom Isn’t Free My Husband Us flag shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this fact that neither pf them won does indicate the show overall gives a handicap to skinny queens right? i agree with you on everything except for the lipsync part, i believe that a big girl can also be acrobatic and can give great performances with tricks and all, i think peppermint (if we consider her a big girl) and kornbread were the two prime examples of how you can still lipsync and perform any type of songs in with the right amount of tricks, campiness and emotions all in one, the only thing that separates us from having a big girl winner is not the song choices or performances on stage, it’s how the audiences perceive and get over fatphobia Kornbread isn’t a good example because we’ve never seen her lipsync to a song that isn’t her track. I’m not sure I think of Pepp as a big girl but you’re right she can PERFORM, and I think there are many big girls who did tricks incredibly (Widow, Jaidynn, Latrice, etc.). I more just brought that point up to say that the RPDR/NYC/LA song choice and performance style differs from what predominates at Southern drag shows. Ditto! Eureka, Silky and Kandy are fierce performers too. Maybe not necessarily “acrobatics,” but they have their own tricks and splits.
