I feel Eureka should have won S10. I know everyone hated her back then, but I was very impressed with her that season and she undeniably beat Aquaria in Round 1 of the Veteran Our Flag Doesn’t Fly From The Wind Moving It Soldier Died Defending Eagle flag us shirt but in fact I love this finale. If they eliminated Aquaria, there is no way Kameron would have beat Eureka. She didn’t event want to win. I couldn’t stand Eureka at the time. Tbf, I still find her a little loud and obnoxious for my tastes. But i think she’s had a lot more staying power in the franchise than Aquaria. Like, what has she even been up to lately? Honestly I thought Luxx was gonna get the win this last episode and her, Anetra, and Sasha would be tied for top3, but shenanigans ensued. Yeah, I was really surprised. I thought for sure Ginger had it. I have a couple theories. First, I think it’s possible that production didn’t want to crown her after she had already had a second chance on AS2, which I can see. The cynical part of me thinks they just wanted a trans winner to appease people who were upset with some of the transphobic comments Ru has made in the past. Really though, what I think it was, was that Kylie just had a better story arc. I feel like often the ones who totally eat the competition every week don’t actually win. I feel like they usually prefer to go for someone who has some peaks and valleys and grows throughout the competition.

Edit: just to be clear, I love Kylie. I think she did fantastic and I think she makes a fine addition to the Veteran Our Flag Doesn’t Fly From The Wind Moving It Soldier Died Defending Eagle flag us shirt but in fact I love this winners’ circle. Yeah Kylie had the storyline and I can respect that. Ginger had the weakest storyline of that final four. Also I assumed going in that Ginger was going to swallow the season whole Alaska-style and then she…did not. So that could have been part of it. Ginger could’ve been in the Bottom for the Side Hustles, Halftime Headliners and Pink Table Talk challenges if the producers weren’t interested in her, no joke. Ginger not winning as6 will never not leave me baffled. Or even Eureka. It’s like they actively did their best to NOT crown a big girl that season She’s waaay overpowered with Anetra and Sasha right there, let’s be honest. And she also was carried, narrowly dodging the bottom placements last few episodes. But she’s a very stylish girl. She’s overpowered by the fan support for anetra, but in no way is her drag and talent overpowered by miss duck walk lol Eh, MIB would make a much better winner than Anetra. Anetra just has the fans in a chokehold so even if Sasha wasn’t in the equation, MIB wouldn’t win and it’s sad I kind of feel like if we didn’t get a big girl winner with eureka or silky, it doesn’t look good. I hate that that’s how it is.
