UberEats has been way better to us and 99% of the Who Wants A Princess When You Can Have A Shield Maiden T-Shirt and I love this time will refund when something goes wrong. Fuck DoorDash, never looking back. “We allow them to customize their own experience” is, in this context, probably the greatest sentence I’ve ever read. I had a similar experience a while back, I ordered ice cream for my partner, and the driver decided to go on a tour of half the damn city, and delivered it melted. I had a similar experience where my food was dropped on the ground outside my house. I’m sure it was an accident but support made me argue for 20 minutes before they finally refunded it. I can remember before the pandemic Doordash would absolutely bend over backwards for you, like immediately refund your meal and give you the next one free. Not sure what happened since they other to be more profitable now, not less. But whatever reason, their support has absolutely gone to shit.

They really said we allow them to customize their own delivery experience idk I don’t think any company is too big too fail I learn working with people from India and China that we need to be as clear and short as possible or they won’t understand what we are trying to say. The strategy is quite obviously to be obtuse so that people simply rage-quit instead of keeping at it – you pressed on, they give you refund, that’s a L in their books, but for everyone like you there people that have more important stuff to do that simply quit, that’s a win for them. Then it’s just an equation. How many refunds, how many drivers do they have to block from the Who Wants A Princess When You Can Have A Shield Maiden T-Shirt and I love this work, what does it cost to have customer support that does this… as long as they win more than they lose, this will be their strategy!
