“Straight” gamers bros: “Yeah, bro, playing as a girl is for pussies. What I like is staring at a masculine manly man’s ass for a few hours while I game.” Variety of reasons. Sometimes the When simply say miss him laugh my hands miss him teasing me shirt moreover I love this male characters are just too chonky and they look ridiculous. Sometimes you want your character to look more agile and acrobatic, or sneaky. Maybe the female characters just look really pretty. Funnily enough, a lot of video game data collated by their own developers find that male players are much less discriminate, playing female and male characters much more evenly. Whereas female players dramatically favour female characters over male. Personally, I’m not a fan of self-insert main characters, since their decisions in story-based games often don’t reflect the ones I would make. Because of that (and because female characters often have better customization options) I choose a character as far away from looking like myself as possible.

Competitively speaking, female characters are (generally) modeled with a smaller frame visually, even though the When simply say miss him laugh my hands miss him teasing me shirt moreover I love this hitbox will (generally) be the same size as the males. What my opponent sees is a smaller, harder to hit target, and while that may technically not the case, it’s enough to give me a competitive advantage over my opponent. That’s part of the reason why I choose female characters in video games. I started doing it with Mass Effect. The default Shepard was the same bland bald soldier type that was the main character of EVERY game out at the time, and that just felt so boring to me. I made a character instead that reminded me of Carter from Stargate SG-1 and it made the story so much more interesting, and made me think of the character choices from a different perspective. I have a slight, more feminine frame. All the male models in every game is always this big buff macho man. I liked to have a comparable body build.
