Unlike a lot of people, I don’t usually feel like I am the Never underestimate a girl who is also a witch was born Match witch halloween shirt But I will love this character that I play in a video game. To me, it’s more like reading a book or watching a movie. I’m a spectator watching the story play out. I have more control over the character in the game, but it’s still a character that I’m watching, not a representative of myself. It’s a bit sexist but fantasy is fantasy so deal 🙂 In my head, wizards, rogues, and rangers are better played by women who have the intelligence and grace to pull it off. In all seriousness, Im a straight man–kinda gay to sit there and make a dude who is “perfect” to my standards. Maybe I’m just trying to low key avoid my own budding homosexuality, or maybe I just want to stare at something pretty that I can put dresses on while in a town, then load up in the armor of dragon skeletons and saw off the heads of giants. if i have to stare at my characters but all game, might as well be what I am attracted to. Literally my reason when i pick female characters for MMOs

Different abilities/special moves: e.g. Ayame in the Never underestimate a girl who is also a witch was born Match witch halloween shirt But I will love this Tenchu franchise was faster & had way better stealth kills. I bounce between male and female characters. I just like to create a strong, compelling woman in a medium that is sorely lacking in that department. And playing as a woman gives different vibes overall. Sometimes it affects gameplay, like in Fallout, and sometimes it’s just more interesting to see a woman in cutscenes than a power fantasy build of myself. The only time i played as a woman was Cyberpunk 2077. The female voice actor was just leagues above male’s one, so it felt more “natural”. For Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, she has better voice acting, was featured in more trailers and just felt like the canon choice
