Posters here are implying kids are speaking English at home out of snobbishness on their part or their parents’, but that’s not it at all. It’s all English here . Thats why The IT sector survived. Language pride is silly . Just shows an inferiority complex to force people to speak or like a particular language . As long as information goes through who cares what is the What We Do in the Shadows Jackie Daytona T-Shirt moreover I love this language My family came to India during the partition and when they first lived in Bangalore in the 70s, they learned English because it was seen as the more “educated” way of communicating. Pretty much 2 generations of my family have only communicated in English, 90% of my family doesn’t live in India so it doesn’t really affect much. I’d say I even prefer it, I grew up really differently because of it. Also pretty much everyone around where I lived in blr grew up with a lot of English Oh, and a random digression, but when they used to give CD-ROMs in cereal boxes one of them was a Boggle game. I played it and it said the word “SUN” wasn’t in the dictionary

What We Do in the Shadows Jackie Daytona T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I’m enjoying this digression. I miss the What We Do in the Shadows Jackie Daytona T-Shirt moreover I love this days of getting game cd’s in cereal boxes. Used to play the shit out of Chex Quest and some sort of early Spider Man. I think Red Octane came in a cereal box too? I remember CQ being my first interaction with actually choosing to play because I felt fear in a game. There was something extremely unsettling about that environment. Turning a corner and being surprised by weird alien squidwards was devastating to young me. Though first interaction with fear in general in a game was probably Bad Toys — my brothers wouldn’t play that when I was in the room because that big smiley face toy terrified me. I got Backyard Baseball in a cereal box and that was the absolute best game ever in a cereal box. Also from the Boggle set they gave out Monopoly and Game of Life games
