I’d cancel and leave. Vietnam needs to learn their scams are going to come at a price: most tourists who come here choose never to come back, hurting their economy in the long run. In terms of travelling Southeast Asia, I’ve been harangued the most in Vietnam compared to neighbouring countries. It’s like, you just can’t catch a break outside without someone coming to you trying to get your money. It makes for a stressful trip. ‘Just say no.’ Yes, but they also follow you around because they hope you’ll give them money to send them away or give out of pity. In Thailand they walk away after one ‘no, thank you.’ Will actually take it a step further, it’s not only whining, it’s useless entitled tourist whining. OP seems to have been expecting filet minot when the reality is, only ribeye was available. that’s so annoying, like they don’t take the long-term impact into consideration whenever executing these scams
