Nah my grandfather who died at 90 was able to build computers as was pretty much fully computer literate(btw his jobs was to work on and build race cars so obviously didn’t have anything to do with computers) the problem almost always is laziness, younger people tend to have a lot more curiosity and no preconceived notions about how things should be so they pickup new technology easier while if an older person tries to learn something new they tend to compare it to something else and complain about how it should be this way or that way, if they even bother to try learning it in the first place Nope it’s a trend thing, statistically speaking younger are more open to new things and older are more conservative but it still boils down to personal choice, as you get older are you going to choose to embrace new technology? Or are you going to reject it in favor of being lazy? I can say that I’ve met just as many young people who for whatever reasons don’t want to learn new things as I have older people, the difference is almost always that the older generation is in a position where they should know how to use certain technologies but refuse to learn while the younger generation are not so it has less impact on others
