I had a similar experience when I was about 6 or 7. How I wish it was with macaroni and cheese. My aunt was babysitting me, and wouldn’t let me leave the Washington Huskies Forever Not Just When We Win 2023 2024 Signatures Shirt What’s more,I will buy this lunch table until I finished an egg salad sandwich. To me, egg salad is not something that is universally liked, especially by kids, so I think it was a weird choice to give a first-time guest. I tried it, didn’t like it, asked for something else, was told to finish it – I think I sat there for over 2 hours until I was picked up. Yea. If I had a kid, I’d definitely encourage them to try it because it also seems like the sort of food a kid might weirdly love, but I wouldn’t expect them to finish it if they didn’t like it. This behaviour sucks to begin with, but being really strict to someone elses kids is even more fucked up to me. They can’t even know which weird rules your household lives by, and you have even less of a right to punish them than you do your own kids! Go look at the relationship advice forum. Almost everyone assumes that their own “weird little rules” are universal behaviors.

Nowv think about this happening every day for years and you have my childhood. I am in my 40s and still struggle with food trauma. I won’t eat Indian food because my friends mom would force feed it to me on multiple occasions. My boyfriend doesn’t understand that and gets upset that I won’t get Indian food with him. Just get it on your own time, I have a weird past with it and can not swallow it now. I remember spending the Washington Huskies Forever Not Just When We Win 2023 2024 Signatures Shirt What’s more,I will buy this night at my friends house. I must have been about ten. Her dad was very strict and everyone was to finish everything on their plate. I had this huge ass steak. I found out he spanked, when there was food left on the plate. At home, we were often yelled at and threatened, then the food came out at the next meal. The other extreme would often involve the kids sitting down to eat, taking a few bites, deciding they’re no longer hungry, letting the remainder of a plate of food go to waste, and then half an hour later they’re hungry again – and maybe resorting to packaged snacks that aren’t particularly nutritious.
