See what happens to your anxiety. It really helped me a lot and not I only really allow my internal monologue during certain situations. My happiness has increased a lot because of this. It’s very hard to stop negative thoughts when you are conversing with yourself inside your head, maybe even impossible sometimes. Just turn it off for while. I do. I also make up worlds in my head to keep my brain distracted from my anxiety. And to help me fall asleep.

I think mostly in pictures and dialogue/scenes. I mean, when forming words like now I have words, but if just taking to myself, I don’t really talk. I just have pictures. If I’m thinking about something, it’ll replay or I’ll see it and hear it. I don’t have a monologue very much (or think in words) much.
