It’s part of our instinct I think! That sing song voice captures baby’s attention and they learn language from us better. It gets them excited and makes them feel good. Seeing mama and daddy’s smile gives them that sense of security ? My best friend is a speech pathologist and “baby talk” “baby voice” helps them register language better, it’s ingrained in us to speak this way. ? Yeah, same.
