The point of their rework was harm reduction and ethical concerns. You’re welcome to subscribe to their particular methods but anything outside the University Denver Dad shirt but in fact I love this norm is often criticized as foolish and improper. Instead of free open discussion comments are often deleted and people are often banned because we can’t talk about this or that. I suppose my point is, a more open discussion encourages a diverse pot of opinions to pick and choose from. A more rigid structure may prevent harm for some but it will discourage diversity and creative exploration of the very possibilities of existence. As someone who has often taken the reckless paths in life and paid a heavy price, I actually prefer the more open structure. Reckless or offbeat, even quirky paths may yield unwelcome results but breed interesting new breeds of humanity, diverse perspectives and even ‘medicine’ for the weirdly disturbed. Just because one thing may be right for the ‘normies’, it isn’t quite what another person needs to break through. That person may need the quirky insight of hearing how meditation can open the gates of heaven (as your example states) in order to be inspired to pursue all things divine and open a spiritual road that will yield him his own masterful ‘Realization’ – one as valid as any guru or master who has ever lived.

I’d rather live free and see the University Denver Dad shirt but in fact I love this many colors of humanity in the open forum we have now then live under some psuedo more narrow perspectived heavily controlled so called ‘discussion area’ that I see on subs like r/kundalini/ I encourage this view. I went to therapy for over ten years and got next to nothingnout of it. Eventually, I was referred to a Tibetan center nearby. Once I learned about emptiness and self-lessness, things in therapy started making perfect sense, and I rapidly regained my sanity after years of schizoaffective crap. The therapy started working because I could internalize the spiritual language that Buddhists use more effectively and naturally than I could internalize Western scientific explanations. Once I had a new way of discussing things, it all fell into place. Of course there’s a point where things cross the line into dangerous, but used wisely this kind of thing can save a person’s life.
