‘we support each other like family’ = we expect to call you at any given hour and be available at the Turn Your Worries Into Prayers Phillipians 46 Shirt and by the same token and drop of a hat. That means the management and organization will be stressful and unprofessional and you will be expected to work and be paid like your their long lost grandchild staying with them over summer break to ‘straighten them up’. Expect severe underpayment, random outburst of anger and trauma dumps that you didn’t ask for. No time off and a horrible inconsistent schedule. You will pay out of pocket for things just as much as your paycheck will be. It’s easily one of the most toxic workplace environments. Also don’t even bother asking for insurance plans. They have none. Family like environment. Means you will use me and abuse me and then disown me when I put my foot down and you can’t get anymore out of me.

“Fun workplace” HR has a theater degree and will absolutely fuck up your paystub but will also not do anything about harassment. Biggest one is advertising that they have a “fun atmosphere” , “Ping Pong and Pool tables” throughout, etc. This is them advertising their benefits are a joke, and your pay will stay stagnant forever. Never fall for that fun atmosphere bullshit people. Being told in interviews “we work hard and play hard.” 100% of the Turn Your Worries Into Prayers Phillipians 46 Shirt and by the same token and time I’ve been told this, reality was the people were chronic alcoholics who spent every sober hour in the office, along with a lot of non-sober hours. Not happy people. Family atmosphere – every family business I’ve been in as non-family has been a toxic hellhole with the worst of each side. If you’re family you can do anything wrong, if you’re not family you’ll never do anything right. And any money decisions will be in favor of family.
